The District is seeking a Roving CBI Inspector for the Bureau of Public Lands Lakes, Donnell Pond, Tunk Lake, and Spring River Lake. Inspector will be a private contractor with the District, and will become certified as a Courtesy Boat Inspector (online training).  Successful candidate will perform inspections, complete Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) data forms, and submit a final report to the District at the end of the season.

Pay will be $16 an hour with flexible hours, approximately 12 hours per week (mainly weekends), from June 20 to Sept 6, 2021. The Inspector may decide which lakes to work and on what schedule, but 6-hour workdays are suggested. All three lakes need inspections, with Donnell Pond being the highest priority. The Inspector will work independently, submit paperwork on time, inform the public of the hazards of invasive plants, and have good interpersonal skills.

Please submit your information to hcswcdinfo@hancockcountyswcd.org or call 207-667-8663.
